Adding SSL/TLS to your web application using RunCloud is not only to secure communication between your server and your website visitor, you will also get HTTP/2 and Brotli compression which comes built-in with RunCloud.
Note: if you use RunCloud free domain in your web application, please remove it before installing Let’s Encrypt SSL/TLS.
Change Your WordPress Address With HTTPS
For WordPress website, after you enable Let’s Encrypt SSL/TLS for your website, you can change your WordPress Address from http to https, using General Settings menu under your Web Application in RunCloud.
HTTP Access vs HSTS
You can set whether to allow your website visitor to always use HTTPS or enable HTTP access to them.
You can use HSTS option if you want to strictly enable HTTPS and disable HTTP access in your website.
